Well, has it happened to you yet?
It has happened for me for, I hope, the last time. I know this happens many thousands of times on the Internet and especially in the IM arena. Any idea what I'm talking about? Take a quick guess to yourself and see if you are right later in this post.

It happens in Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, or any other browser. It happens in Canada, USA, India, United Kingdom and Asia, Africa and South America. It happens on Monday, Tuesday, Wed,Thurs,Fri,Sat or/and Sunday at any time of the day, even 3am and IT is instant.

This 'happening' happens when one is convinced, either with words or videos or flash or popups or redirects. It happens when one is convinced, by someone else, that the answer to a problem can be had RIGHT HERE & RIGHT NOW! Sometimes it happens so smoothly we wonder HOW it happened at all. Some times we find that this particular 'happening' has happened before and we overlooked the fact and let it happen again.

What is this happening? SOMEONE IS SOLD SOMETHING! Someone is sold ON something! Someone is sold something BY someone!

And then someone finds that what was sold is not worth the money that was spent. Listen online and you will hear more and more successful IMer's ranting about the 'value' of new systems and make money fast products that simply rip people off for their money.

Or another scenario happens. The product bought is the same as the product purchased before with a different jacket and new copy. Resellers using good copywriting, that moves one to buy the product.

• So what's a fairly new newbie in the Internet Marketing arena to do?
• How can we protect ourselves from the growing balance of payments for junk, rehash or simply garbage products?

• Did the person complaining try the system/product by following the instructions given?
• Did they give the process ample time to come to fruition?

There are so many products online that teach about the major aspects of online marketing. Listbuilding, email marketing, list management, video, audio, webpage design, adsense,clickbank, commission junction, blogging, traffic generation et al.

• Just how much NEW info can there be?
• How much has been rehashed?

I made lots of mistakes by allowing 'the happening to happen'. I bought the same products with different names. I opted in to information that was so outdated and lame that it was an instant unsub when I realized my mistake.
