And the ugly horse of over-extension rears its ugly head. I have so much going on trying to get something going that nothing is being accomplished.
I set this up with plans for the TYL buddies to come here and advertise and talk but then I got busy with other sites and things and forgot about this…so nothing has been done since the last time I was here.
I wonder if there are others who have opened so many doors that they too are dazed and confused. I put up lots of PLR and MRR products but then I run out of time and do nothing about traffic generation. Sometimes I think I should either get serious or get out.
Information overload and too many projects just eat away at time and get nothing accomplished. At the moment I have these windows open:
- A training video from a new product
- The webpage of the product that I am going to promote
- Google Adwords that is part of the video training
- MIVA, I was looking into the price of the keywords for the new product
- My hosting account is open to make the new sub-domain
- This WP window for making this post
- Windows Explorer
- 2 Notepad files
I use 2 monitors so I can see the different windows and watch the video in one and actually do it in the other.
So, that’s why it has been some time since I was here.
BUT, you know what my biggest problem is? NO, it’s the damn email. New products, new promotions, traffic generating emails, blog posts notifications, etc, etc, etc.
I can’t be the only one going through this so I must make another mailing and invite some of my Triple Your List contacts here.
Here’s a little app that I use to keep track of the multiple passwords and user names for the sites I visit. This file has been virus-checked and is safe to download with my compliments.

Today I input some addresses from Triple Your List into my autoresponder. I am not using any of the commercial hosted responders as I found a script that runs on my domain. It is an older script so I hope it works as planned.
Did you get a message from me? Good to see you then. Hope this works as planned. Did you read the posts I have made so far…they give you an idea of what I am thinking.
About the Forum.. like many other things I got started but then got sidetracked!!! Does that ever happen to you? Some people say it’s my age but I think it’s just my nature as I love to learn new things.
So please let me know if you
a) you got my email (duh, guess you did or you would not be here)
b) was it formatted properly
c) did you go and have a look at http://www.free-report-central.info
d) what did you think
I’m making a large reminder SIGN to remind me to come back here and moderate the comments etc.
Please let’s not share this with anyone else just yet, OK? I am just getting past the need to have everything perfect before I let anyone see it so I would like to get any bugs out of this before we share it with others. Should I suddenly get too much ‘spam’ comments then I will put a password on and I’ll send you a message with the default password to use along with your email address to sign in. Fair enough? If not, why not?
Some of the reports that come in my mailbox I turn into posts or pages on other sites. Here’s one you may find interesting called:
Questions ARE The Answer
Until next time
Keep on learning

Today I installed a forum for the first time. It is really quite simple using Simple Scripts that comes with my Cpanel. Click a few buttons and change the default name and voila! a working forum.
Now I’m going to search my HD and find the ‘Forum Secrets’ ebook and read about forums. I will also have to hunt down some tutorials to learn how to tweak the default settings and get it looking like something else.
I called it the “3X Forum” with the idea that it may be easier for the members of Triple Your List to communicate with each other about different topics. Plus my insatiable need to learn something new…always the learner.
I got an email today with “Triple Your List Member’ in the subject line and I opened it immediately. Unfortunately it was not formatted properly, or my webmail did not open it properly so I could not make out what the message was but Linda was excited about the opportunity so I hope she gets back to me.
Got some new contacts from TYL today so I will have to get a message out to them about this blog and about the new forum.

Hello,
My name is Doug Nelson though I use the name Augie. This is the name my grand-children call me… a term of endearment from my first marriage.
I’m glad you could make it here. I set up this blog because…well when I first read about ‘Triple Your List’ I thought it was a great idea. I joined right away and it did not take long before I got my first set of three contacts. So I did the normal thing and emailed them. I also watched my inbox for messages from other TYL members as I knew my address would be given to them.
Well I watched particularly close for a short time but did not seem to hear from anyone. That was when it dawned on me that perhaps some of the messages that I had taken for ‘spam’ had actually been messages from TYL members. I decided then and there that I would use some form of identification in the subject line of my emails so that others would know that was where the message was coming from. Hopefully you have noticed this and read some of the messages that I have sent.
I would encourage all members of Triple Your List to do likewise.
Then after thinking about this for some time I decided that I would start this ‘members only’ blog for my TYL contacts/friends. Only those who have been invited know about this blog. The idea is that you can come here and introduce yourself and your offer. Now we must keep the blatant advertising to a minimum but feel free to make a comment and include your link so others can come and see what you have to offer.
Let’s keep this to one link per post so on your first posted comment you could introduce yourself and then leave a link to your site…on your second leave a link to your autoresponder or newsletter sign up. Feel free to leave any suggestions you feel would be appropriate.
So, welcome and please feel at home.
